B. 1980
I am an oil painter focused primarily on landscapes. Having spent the first half of my life in a mid-Atlantic coastal city, the ocean has served as an endless source of inspiration. Many of my paintings are an attempt to capture the sense of movement, mystery and power that water represent.
The second half of my life has been lived in Québec, a land of mountains, lakes and snow. A landscape painter’s paradise.
Through the use of bold brushstrokes and strong colors, I aim to create a sense of depth and power in my work that leaves an impression to the viewer.
